MORTAL GOD (FINLAND)

Mortal God was properly formed in August 1992 and the line-up has been the same since then (except for the bassplayers). First demo 'Impurity' was recorded at the end of December, and released in January '93. In autumn '94 the band got its' first official bass player (Leve Moro), (Tomi changed to play the 2nd guitar in spring '93), but they had to change Leve to Sakke Sarasto in June '95. Band recorded new Promotape in July '94. The band entered the studio again and recorded 10 tracks, the tape was called 'Letting Moonlight Into You'. One track from 'Letting...' called 'A Prayer' is featured on Shiver Records 3 CD compilation box. A label from Belgium called Rumble Audiovisuals took contact with the band and offered a deal which was finally signed at the end of '95. During winter '96 it became obvious that band couldn't co-operate with the label anymore, so deal was called off and 7 tracks (of 10) of 'L.M.I.Y.' was released in tape format in late August '96.
